Quick Overview

Three License Types Available:

  • Standard License – Single project, up to 5,000 monthly active users

  • Extended License – Multiple projects or unlimited users

  • Exclusive License – Buyer gets sole rights, content removed from marketplace

All licenses use the same 70/30 revenue split — creators earn 70% regardless of license type.
Pricing multipliers are set by creators — Extended typically costs 3–5x Standard, Exclusive costs 10–20x Standard.

Licensing Best Practices

For Creators

Pricing Strategy:

  • Start competitively for Standard

  • Use 3–5x multiplier for Extended

  • Use 10–20x multiplier for Exclusive

  • Adjust pricing based on performance data

Content Strategy:

  • Create variations at different price points

  • Group related assets for Extended use

  • Design specific assets for Exclusive licensing

  • Monitor market trends and buyer behavior

For Buyers

Choose Based on Project Needs:

  • Standard: Single-use, limited scale

  • Extended: Multi-use, high scale, agency work

  • Exclusive: Unique brand visuals, full rights

Budget Considerations:

  • Standard: Cost-efficient entry point

  • Extended: Smart choice for growing businesses

  • Exclusive: Long-term asset for serious brand investment

Common Misconceptions

For Creators:

  • "Extended earns less per sale" → False. It earns 3–5x more.

  • "Exclusive means I lose all content rights" → You retain copyright.

  • "Standard buyers won’t upgrade" → Many do as their projects grow.

For Buyers:

  • "Standard means unlimited use" → No, capped at 5,000 MAU.

  • "Extended is overpriced" → Not for SaaS, agencies, or high-scale apps.

  • "Exclusive = ownership" → You get usage rights, not copyright.
